- This DNA extraction kit is designed for the rapid and cost-effective purification of genomic DNA from a variety of sources, including animal tissues, mammalian cells, microbial cells, and whole blood (both nucleated and non-nucleated). The kit combines a specially optimized lysis buffer with a proprietary silica-based membrane technology in a convenient spin column format to achieve high purity genomic DNA extraction. It rapidly extracts and purifies 10-30 μg of genomic DNA that is free from RNA or protein contamination. The resulting high purity genomic DNA is ready for a wide range of applications, including PCR, Southern blotting, RAPD, AFLP, RFLP, sequencing, and other molecular experiments.
